  • Overview

    Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and verifying all necessary information provided by the Automobile Dealer. Facilitates the closing of automobile loan contracts according to consumer lending policy and procedures as well as compliance regulations. A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with customers and is usually of a personal or sensitive nature.

    1. Ensure loans meet compliance regulations prior to preparing closing documents.
    2. Prepare loan closing packages for all types of auto loans ensuring accuracy at all time and delivering completed loan packages to loan officer for review.
    3. Review closing packages to ensure closing documents are signed correctly and all conditions on the file have been satisfied prior to funding.
    4. Enter loan information into appropriate fields and image all related documents.
    5. Work with Loan Officers to clear loan stipulations for loan funding.
    6. Track and maintain report for Follow-up items from management in a timely manner.

    Qualifications

    Training/Education/Certification:

     

    • High School graduate or equivalent.

     

    Required Knowledge:

     

    • Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals.
    • Basic knowledge of computer/office equipment
    • Intermediate to advanced skills in the use of a calculator, adding machine/10-key, computer skills (Windows navigation, mouse/keyboard functionality, etc.), Microsoft Office suite including Outlook.
    • Image loan document systems.
    • Must be able to type a minimum of 40 WPM.

     

     

     Experience Required:

     

    • 1 to 2 years of similar or related banking experience.
