Overview

Responsible for performing basic Visa department functions in accordance to the policies and procedures of the department. Basic functions include, the production of daily VISA cards, and monthly VISA card reissues, insuring the finished cards meet the stringent quality standards set by AFCU. Professionally assists members, vendors and employees, and provides support functions and supports department personnel as required and performs related clerical duties as required.

Responsibilities

1. Assumes responsibility for the effective and timely performance of assigned VISA functions.

 

a. Daily card production

b. Business Cards/Rush cards 2nd jt. cards

c. Send New Account Kits to Branches

d. Posting of the Visa tape (back-up)

e. Card production stats for monthly rpt

f. Check card pulls for next day’s card run.

g. Answer Department Phone Calls

h. Picture Perfect Image Checking

i. Responsible for Nightly Department Closing Responsibilities.

j. Processing of After Hours Lost Stolen Reports

k. Processing of Lost Stolen Report email inbox.

l. Processing returned mail

m. Processing of member traveling forms.

n. Chargeback filing

 

 

2.  Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.

 

a. Maintains a high performance level on presentation and training skills.

b. Stays current on training programs and procedures.

c. Ensures that work areas are clean, secure and well maintained.
d. Assumes other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Training/Education/Certification:

 

  • High school graduate or equivalent.

 

Required Knowledge:

 

  • Thorough knowledge of VISA procedures and requirements.
  • Familiarity with related accounting procedures.

 

Experience Required:

 

  • One to two years of related experience preferred.

 

Skills/Abilities:

 

  • Excellent communication and public relations skills.
  • Solid math skills. Able to analyze accounts.
  • Attentive to detail.
  • Well organized.
  • Ability to assist others.
  • Able to use PC, calculator, phone, air system.
