Overview

Organizes documents for imaging processes and provides support services for mortgage loans under review.  Assists with preparing, organizing, and delivering accurate and complete mortgage loan packages for both loan servicing and secondary market activities. Maintains departmental records and files.  Assists or refers members as necessary.

Responsibilities

1.             Assumes responsibility for the preparation of mortgage loan files for the imaging process and assisting with the processes for delivery of closed loans to the secondary market.            

 

a.             Prepares loan documents and files for imaging.

 

b.             Assists with assembling and copying packages of loan documents necessary for shipping loans to designated investors within the specified delivery time period as needed.

 

c.             Assists investors and mortgage personnel as needed.

 

 

d.             Files title documents as they are received as needed.

 

 

 

2.             Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining professional business relationships with members.

 

a.             Resolves or refers member and business partner requests and problems promptly and courteously.

             

                b.             Maintains confidentiality.

 

c.             Maintains and conveys the Credit Union's professional reputation.

 

3.             Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective coordination and communication with area personnel and with management.

 

a.                                                                                                                                             Assists and supports area and Credit Union personnel as needed.          

 

b.             Completes assignments promptly and accurately.

 

c.             Maintains all department files as needed.  Files all documents as needed.  Retrieves file information for Department personnel as needed.

 

d.             Attends and participates in meetings as required.  Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems.

 

4.             Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.

 

a.             Keeps work area clean, secure, and well maintained.

 

  1. Completes special projects as assigned.

 

c.             Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

Training/Education/Certification:

 

-              High school graduate or equivalent.

 

Required Knowledge:

 

-              General office and clerical skills.

 

Experience Required:

 

-              Previous clerical experience is preferred.

-              Basic knowledge of mortgage loan documents and processes is preferred.

 

Skills/Abilities:

 

-              Ability to meet deadlines.

-              Accuracy and thoroughness in work.

-              Well organized and attentive to detail.

-              Good communications and public relations skills.

-              Strong data entry and filing skills.

-              Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
